Some FAQ's

Q- How much does it cost to advertise my Motorhome with you?
A- There are no hidden charges. We charge a flat £5 for 50 days, that's only 10 pence per day, for each Private and Trade advertisement.

Q- How do I register and activate my account?
A- Complete the Registration form. You must choose either Private, Trade or Buyer. Private and Trade advertisers along with Buyers can register for free. Do not use any spaces in your login name. If you experience any problems with registering please contact us.

Q- How do I login using my Facebook or Twitter account?
A- You can now use your own Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, MySpace, Google or OpenID account to use our website. You will be sent to your social networking site to approve that you can use your account with us. You will then be redirected back to us and automatically logged in. You can then start saving searches and set up email notifications about new listings.

Q- How do I publish my ad on Facebook or Twitter?
A- Login to your Selling a Motorhome account and select "My Profile". You can activate Facebook and Twitter publishing by clicking on the "Enable" link for either Facebook or Twitter. You can enable both of them if you have an account with each site. Whenever you add a listing the advert will appear on your Facebook or Twitter page automatically. You have the option of not publishing the ad to your social networking site, just select the checkbox to "Not Post to Facebook or Twitter" before activating your listing.

Q- Do buyers have to pay to search on this site?
A- No it’s completely free.

Q- How does the buyer contact the seller. Do we have to go through a premium rate telephone number and do I need to display my email address?
A- Speak or email direct with each other. No premium rate telephone numbers to go through. Your email address is hidden unless you wish to make it available publicly. Buyers can still email you though via our messaging system!

Q- The postcode search does not work when I enter my full postcode!
A- We wish to protect your privacy as much as possible. You only need to enter the first part of your postcode, i.e. NW10 or WC1N or BN1. You can also search without using a postcode at all.

A- Your listing will be available for up to 50 days! You can mark it as sold, deactivate or delete it at any time before the 50 days are finished when you have sold it. You can also choose to upgrade it to Featured if your account allows this.

Q- My motorhome ad does not show up on the website but I have listed it!
A- Once you have added your motorhome listing plus any photos and video and you are happy with it, you will need to pay for the ad to activate it. You can activate and deactivate your own motorhome ads whenever you wish, if for example, you want to edit the details or wait for a certain date to make it live and available for sale. Make sure your ad is active by looking at your listing details, if you see "deactivate this listing" it should be live on our site.

Q- How do I delete my motorhome(s) from my account once I've sold them?
A- Once you have sold your motorhome just login to your account, edit your motorhome listing to mark it as SOLD. Or just click delete and it will be removed from your account permanently.
